About the Edinburgh Ashlars
The Ashlars is made up of many young members in Edinburgh seeking to promote Freemasonry amongst younger men and to provide opportunities for our future and existing members to get together to socialise with one another, to encourage involvement & knowledge of Freemasonry and to reinforce the principles of Freemasonry: Brotherly Love, Relief, and Truth.
Joining If you are under 45 or have been a freemason for less than seven years and are a member of a lodge within the Province of Edinburgh, then complete the contact form above. History Established in 2013 under the Provincial Grand Lodge of Edinburgh, The Edinburgh Ashlars was born as a club to complement Freemasonry, to support existing Lodges and strengthen Lodge activity. The Provincial Grand Lodge brought together a number of masons aged under 40 from lodges across Edinburgh to encourage them to meet, socialise and continue their masonic journey. The group has a wide range of knowledge and masonic experience - some are new members of the Scottish Craft, others are Past Masters of their respective Lodges. The Edinburgh's Ashlars has its own set of administrators. Events Members meet socially and arrange to visit lodges within the province. The group periodically run degree workings, bringing together members from multiple lodges. |
